I laugh at myself when I think about being assertive because I don't go out looking for trouble and most of the time I try to avoid conflict at all costs. In a healthy way of course. On occasion I have been known (only by Megan and AJ) for being a little over assertive with waitresses at certain BW's and DJ's at certain weddings. I apologized immediately though. Recently I have been afforded many opportunities to "assert" myself and I have liked the results. I'm getting a new compact (25$) and I'm hoping to get my dry cleaning bill reimbursed. It's a fine line between being an ass and being assertive.
